This book is really about two people but the same person ... ME!
There's the "real" me and there's the "other" me,
the person I became when my biggest dream came true and I became a successful, world-wide rock star!
They are two very different people and one of them got very lost along the way, as you will see.
Writing this has helped me re-discover the real me and I am deeply thankful for that
but I will never forget how it all happened,
how it all went wrong or how I recovered and that's why I am glad I can share it with you.
I learned from my mistakes and they were big ones,
maybe reading this will help you avoid making them in the first place!!

Most people dream ... I think! What they dream about I don't know and nor do I know if there
comes a pOint in their lives when they stop dreaming ...
I have dreamt a million dreams, perhaps more and many of those dreams became reality,
or a sort of reality at least.
Most people don't become part of a rock group that seils more than 40 million records ... I did!
Most people don't have (and spend) so much money that they can own RolIs-Royces, Mercedes,
Ferraris and BMW's ... at the same time ... I did!
Most people don't spend their lives flying first-class and staying in luxury hotels all over
the world and most people dont't have fans (mainly women) chasing them wherever they go ... I did!
Most people don't become cocaine addicts ...1 did! And most cocaine addicts don't recover ...1 did!
Most people think some or all of the above is some kind of perfect life ... it isn't!
The truth is I dreamt all of this and more and it all happened ... success and excess, the perfect
juxtaposition of heaven and hell.
But I survived and that is why I am here to share with you what can happen ...
